Kids love movie night. They figured out their routines for movie night: pop corns, chips, turning off the light, asking their mom for freshly pressed juice and cuddling up on the sofa.

On a Thursday evening, I was thinking maybe taking them to see a movie in the theater. Turns out there is a good children movie on Saturday. So Mom asked the 3-year old Skyden:

Mom: Skyden, can you go ask Tina and Cayden to see if they want to go see a movie on Saturday?

Skyden took the order, ran to the other room where the 7-year old Tina and 5-year old Cayden are playing. After a while, we heard:

Skyden: Tina, Cayden, do you see movie on Saaaaaturday?

Tina: Sure.

Then it became quiet. After many minutes, Skyden still didn’t come back. The messenger either forgot or didn’t realize that he should come back to deliver the answer. Fortunately, we still have the other 3-year old Lena around us. So Mom asked Lena to go ask. Lena took the task, ran to the other room, and we heard:

Lena: Tina, wanna movie night?

Mom shouted: Lena, not a movie night. Go to see a movie on Saturday.

Lena: OK… Tina, Mommy say movie night and then another movie on Saturday.

Not sure if Lena did it on purpose, she made it a movie night tonight, and also added a movie for Saturday.

Skyden ran back and asked: Mommy, today is Saturday?

Mom: no, today is Thursday.

Skyden: so no movie tonight. Movie is for Saturday, right?

Here we go. He fixed it. Thank you, Buddy.
